Hollywood Way, Edison Boulevard, and Vanowen Street Improvement Project
Burbank, CA (Oct. 24, 2017) - City of Burbank Public Works Department will be repaving roadways with rubberized asphalt. Notices were distributed to residents and business owners five days prior to start of work. They included the scope of work as well as the names and phone numbers of the contractor and the inspector. The contractor has posted “NO PARKING” signs 48 hours in advance of commencing work in areas where parking restrictions were necessary. Construction started on Monday, October 23, 2017, and is scheduled to be completed by Thursday, November 9, 2017.
During construction, vehicular traffic will remain open on Hollywood Way, Edison Boulevard, and Vanowen Street but lane closures and detours will be in effect during certain phases of the operation. Drivers should expect delays at street entrances and driveways during construction. Drivers on Hollywood Way, Edison Boulevard, and Vanowen Street are advised to take alternate routes during construction.
