Other Applications and Fees

Below are applications and fees for project-types that are applicable in one or more zoning districts or are project-specific requests.

All Planning permits require a completed application form with the property owner(s) original signature, a fee payment, and required submittal materials in order to be accepted at the Public Counter. Prior to submitting an application, please consult with a Planner to determine the requirements for your project at the Public Counter, by phone at (818) 238-5250, or by email at planning@burbankca.gov.

All plans submitted with a Planning Application are expected to meet these Standard Plan Details.

Based on the type of application, a Project Sign may be required to be posted on-site during the review process. Upon determination of application completeness, the Project Planner will provide the sign details for your application.

Consultant cost to City plus 10% admin. fee 

  • Upon initial application review, the Project Planner will identify the level of environmental review and coordinate payment for an environmental consultant (managed by the City).
  • Applicant is responsible for all filing fees with the Los Angeles County Clerk-Recorder.

Traffic and Parking Studies 

Consultant cost to City plus 15% admin. fee 
  • Upon initial application review, the Project Planner will consult with the City's Transportation Division to determine if a traffic or parking analysis is required.  
Traffic Model Analysis or Studies   Consultant cost to City plus 10% admin. fee
  • As part of environmental review, the Project Planner will consult with the City's Transportation Division to determine if a model analysis is necessary.
