Nicolas Henderson is a fine artist based in New York City. Originally from Los Angeles, he studied photography at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California, and moved to New York to continue his education at Parsons School of Design. Working in his preferred medium, 35mm film, he favors a cinematic eye which seeks to tease out the emotion in both personal and public subjects - whether people, objects, or architecture and the environment. His point of view is heavily influenced by the power of an image to trigger a chain reaction of memories and tap into one's own life experiences for an emotional response. Opening Reception: Friday, January 10, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
