"FIRED BY JUNZO"Junzo's Apple June 2015
June 5 - 25, 2015
"Fired by Junzo" is an eclectic exhibit of ceramics, produced by over thirty artists.  These varied works have one thing in common, they were all fired by Junzo Mori.  Junzo operates the kilns at the Xiem Clay Center.  He has fired literally thousands of kilns containing innumerable ceramic pieces.  His expertise has affected, enhanced, and touched the work of many Los Angeles potters.  This spring he will be retiring, from the sudio, not from ceramics!  He will now concentrate on his own work, examples of which will be included in this exhibit. "Fired by Juno" will be a tribute to and a celebration of the effort and skill that Mr. Mori has dedicated to the local ceramic community.  He is truly a treasure. Opening Reception: Friday, June 5, 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.
