INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE
Information and assistance services are provided at the Joslyn Adult Center during center hours Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m- 8:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Sunday 10:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. Services are available for those 55+ include information on activities and community services, referrals for in-home supportive services, health, housing, and financial discount programs. Call to sign-up for appointment.

Braille Low Vision Rehabilitation
A trained Low Vision Rehabilitation consultant will help you select magnification and lighting equipment that will help you make the most of your remaining vision. Please bring a referral from your eye doctor.

Hearing Screening / Telephone Program
An Audiologist will examine your ears, check your hearing, and if you have hearing loss, issue a form for a free amplified telephone from the California Telephone Access Program.                                                    

Legal Advocate Services
A legal representative from Bet Tzedek (House of Justice) Legal Services comes to the Joslyn Center each 2nd Thursday of the month to assist low income individuals who are 55 years or older.

Medicare Advocate
The Medicare Advocate at the Joslyn Adult Center is available on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. by appointment only. This program assists with Medicare, insurance claims and appeals, provides information on Medicare Part D, Medigaps, HMO's, and Long Term Care Insurance. Program is sponsored by the Center for Healthcare Rights.

Notary Service
Notary services are available at the Joslyn Center for those 55+
