Featured Volunteer Opportunity:

City of Burbank Nutrition Program

 

The City of Burbank Home Delivered Meals (HDM) & the McCambridge Nutrition Program is looking for volunteers to assist in various areas of their program.  HDM delivers lunch to homebound adults 60 + and disabled children living an eligible adults in Burbank.  Approximately 150 residents benefit from this service 5 days a week.  Volunteers can assist HDM in the following ways:

  • Delivering meals (personal vehicle is used)
  • Packing HDM meals (will need volunteers mid-August)

Additionally, the City of Burbank Nutrition Program offers a congregate meal location at McCambridge Recreation Center (1515 N Glenoaks Blvd, Burbank 91504).  This locations allows for adults 60+ years to enjoy a hot meal (lunch) with other members of the Burbank Community.  Volunteers are needed to assist in this program in the following ways:

  • Checking patrons in
  • Collecting donations for lunch
  • Clean up and Set up
