The City of Burbank Parks and Recreation Department offers a variety of activities and programs for Burbank teens. Recreation classes, teen dances,  summer camp, teen activity nights, and Skate Park events are just a few of the programs offered.

The Burbank Skate Park, located in Valley Park is a supervised facility offering designated times for riders of skateboards, scooters, and BMX bikes.  The skate park is open seven days a week and hosts several special events throughout the year. Click on the link above for more information.

The Summer Daze Plus Camp for ages 11 to 14 years old operates during the summer break, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.  Camp activities include sports, games, crafts and excursions to local entertainment venues.  Click here for more information, or call Verdugo Recreation Center at 818.238.5390.


The Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of classes and activities for teens.  You can enroll in many classes including art, dance, fitness, martial arts, and more!  Enjoy the outdoors by exploring the hiking trails in Wildwood or Stough Canyons.  Join a sports team or sign up to learn tennis or golf.  Participate in the many special events offered throughout the year such as the Haunted Adventure or Polar Plunge.  So many opportunities!  The Recreation Guide is published quarterly and can be found by clicking the following link: Recreation Guide
