- Introduction: Take a break from the Farmer's Market to see a FREE documentary screening on the story of food waste produced by the late Anthony Bourdain. After the film, we will be hosting a discussion on food waste with Kaitlin Mogentale, founder of Pulp Pantry--creating snacks out of upcycled juice pulp.
"Wasted" takes you around the world, showing the 1.3 billion tons of food that needlessly gets thrown out each year and the people fighting to prevent it. Filmmakers and leading chefs explore ways to solve the problem by changing societies' perceptions and palates. Imagine what happens when we look at our kitchens in a different light! As Bourdain states, "use everything, waste nothing".
