 Proposed Ordinance Regulating Shared Use Mobility Devices in Burbank

What is this?

This notice is to let you know that the City of Burbank Transportation Staff will hold a Community Meeting for shared use mobility devices regulations. The purpose of the community meeting is for City Staff to receive public comments and input on their proposed regulations of shared use mobility devices.

The regulations will allow shared use mobility companies to offer their devices for rent in the public right of way. Shared use mobility operators will be required to abide by a new City Ordinance, a set of administrative regulations, and be bound by an operating agreement. The ordinance, administrative regulations, and operating agreement cover device caps, device standards, parking regulations, data sharing, and fees to cover the City’s costs.
