Short-term Rentals Online Community Workshop

The City of Burbank Community Development Department will be hosting the first of two online community workshops on the topic of Short-term Rentals. The City is seeking residents' input on the City’s plans to regulate Short-term Rentals.

City staff is working on a proposed ordinance to allow Short-term Rentals that seeks to protect neighborhoods in Burbank while allowing its residents to participate in the sharing economy. City staff will be presenting the general overview of regulations that are being considered, including those that are intended to address potential concerns related to parking, noise, and safety. Workshop participants will have an opportunity to share their thoughts and suggestions on the City’s proposed Short-term Rental ordinance. No decision regarding short term rental regulations will be made at the workshop.

This community workshop will be held online as the City balances the health risks associated with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), while appreciating the public's right to conduct the people's business in a transparent and open manner, during the current State of Emergency and in the interest of public health and safety. City facilities are closed to the public until further notice and the public will not be able to physically attend this community workshop.
