Kevin Gray Selected As Burbank's Chief Information Officer
BURBANK, CA (February 15, 2018) – Kevin Gray has been selected to serve as the City of Burbank’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) as such, he will provide the vision and implementation for projects that will ensure the efficient utilization of technology resources by supporting the fifteen City departments and thusly boosting customer service to Burbank residents and businesses.
Gray’s prior experience includes 20 years in technology, first working at DreamWorks as head of the data center operations and systems administration. When DreamWorks merged with Paramount in 2006, Gray stayed on for another seven years ending up at Viacom in 2013, Paramount’s parent company. In his latest position, Gray was Vice President for Global Media and Infrastructure Technology where he led the Global Technology Infrastructure Services Consolidation and Transformation Program integrating information technology and media infrastructure.
“We are happy that Kevin will be joining the City of Burbank,” stated Ron Davis, Burbank City Manager. “Much of his career has been spent transforming technology organizations to achieve modernization, cost reduction and improved service. We believe he can accomplish the same for our City.”
