Burbank Bike Angels Christmas Event
BURBANK, CA (December 13, 2018) – On Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 3:00pm, the Burbank Bike Angels will celebrate its 10th Holiday season by displaying more than 100 gleaming restored bikes for less fortunate kids on the steps of Burbank City Hall (275 E. Olive Ave.). The bikes will be distributed in time for the Holidays through local non-profit organizations such as the Salvation Army, Boys & Girls Club, Family Service Agency and Penny Lane. To date, the Burbank Bike Angels have restored over 1,700 bikes.
Currently scheduled to attend the event are Bike Angels’ director and volunteers, representatives from Congressman Schiff's and Assemblymember Friedman's offices, City of Burbank officials and Salvation Army Officers.
The Burbank Bike Angels are accepting volunteers to help clean bikes, pump up tires and categorize the bikes. For further information, please contact Elaine Pease at email@example.com.
