City of Burbank Councilmember and City Attorney Appointed to League of California Cities Board
Burbank, CA (November 6, 2019) – The League of California Cities has appointed City of Burbank Councilmember Jess Talamantes as the Chairman of the Governance, Transparency, and Labor Relations Policy Committee, and asked him to join the League’s Finance Committee. Additionally, he will serve his second year as a representative on the Board of Directors.
Burbank’s City Attorney Amy Albano was also appointed to the League of California Cities Board of Directors as a representative of the City Attorneys’ Department. This appointment also designates Ms. Albano as an Officer of the City Attorneys’ Department.
The League of California Cities is an association of California city officials who work together to enhance their knowledge and skills, exchange information, and combine resources so that they may influence policy decisions that affect cities. The League Board of Directors is responsible for the overall supervision, control, and direction of the League. Only city officials from League member cities are eligible for membership on the Board of Directors.
