Pop-up Community Event with Metro
Pop-Up Community Engagement Event: Share your input on “First/Last Mile” needs around the Olive/Riverside Metro Bus Rapid Transit Station
What is this?
As part of the upcoming North Hollywood to Pasadena Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Line planning, Metro is developing a “First/Last Mile Plan” to improve multimodal access to four stations along the BRT corridor. The station identified in the City of Burbank for this planning effort is the Olive/Riverside station.
What this means is that Metro is analyzing existing conditions and hurdles for pedestrian and bike access to this future station as well as identifying possible projects that enhance non-vehicular access in the Media District. The final plan will provide project recommendations that will enable to City to more effectively and efficiently apply for future grant applications for transportation projects near the future BRT station, resulting in better “First/Last Mile” connections.
Metro will be hosting a pop-up event to hear your input, feedback, and ideas for mobility needs in the neighborhood.
How do I participate or find out more information?
The pop-up will be outside the entrance to the Buena Vista Library at 300 N Buena Vista St on November 9 from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.
