Curb Your Recycling: Understanding Recycling and Waste Reduction
Have you “bin” confused on recycling and other waste questions? Join the experts from the Burbank Recycle Center for a basic training on what goes where and why. This in-person session an essential starter kit for navigating the often-confusing world of packaging and organics recycling (green bin).
You’ll learn practical tips to reduce food and packaging waste—and, most importantly, how to avoid creating unnecessary waste in the first place. Get inspired as we explore the 8 R’s of waste reduction:
ReThink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Return (nutrients back to nature), Repair, and Regulate.

Parking: Enter the CSB parking lot on Olive Ave, between 3rd Street and Glenoaks Blvd. This is the same parking lot used for the Burbank Farmers Market.
From the parking lot, walk toward the building with the large red art sculpture in front. Enter through the side door marked with a Curb Your Recycling event sign.
