The City of Burbank Planning Division will be holding a virtual webinar to review the proposed amendments to the City's existing development standards for Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (JADUs). The proposed Zone Text Amendment (ZTA) is intented to ensure consistency between the City's regulations and State ADU Law. Staff previously introduced the summary of forthcoming amendments to the City Council at a Study Session held on July 28, 2026. Following the webinar, staff will present the proposed ZTA to the Planning Commission for consideration. With the Planning Commission's recommendation, the ZTA would then be presented to the City Council for adoption at a later date.
