For the week of March 23 - March 27, meals can be picked up Mondays and Wednesdays at Joslyn, McCambridge, and Tuttle Centers between 11:30am - 1:00 pm for the week of March 23 - March 27.
Beginning March 30, only Home Delivered Meals will be available.

JOIN US FOR LUNCH!
If you are 60 years of age and over, Join the Burbank Nutrition Services (BNS) for lunch! BNS is a City of Burbank lunch program that serves 3-course sit-down lunches at three convenient locations. BNS lunches are nutritious, delicious, affordable, and the perfect opportunity to meet new and long-time friends.
Meals are served Monday through Friday (except holidays) at 11:15 a.m. Reservations are recommended and are taken in person between 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. the day of lunch at the location you plan to eat.
Fee: 60 years of age and older - $2 suggested donation
59 years of age and younger - $4 charge
Annual registration for this program is required. Clients must complete a registration form for the LA County Area Agency on Aging. First time patrons must fill out the form prior to receiving their first meal. All renewals must be completed in July regardless of when the parton begins the program. HOME DELIVERED MEALS
Burbank Nutrition Services offers a home delivery lunch service for homebound adults 60+ living in the City of Burbank, spouses living with and caring for eligible adults, and disabled children living with eligible adults. Meal service is available on a short term basis for adults convalescing at home after a hospitalization or on a long-term basis. Brochure
Meals are delivered Monday through Friday between 10:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Reservations are required. The suggested donation is $3.00 per meal.
Applications and eligibility requirements are reviewed by the Home Delivered Meals Coordinator. Meal service begins after application is approved. After a few days of meal service, a home visitation is scheduled. Nutrition Services Universal Intake Form

All meals provide at least one-third of the USDA requirements for adults 60 years of age and over and meet nutritional requirements of the Federal Older Americans Act.
Typical meals include entree, salad, dessert, bread, butter, and milk. Each meal provides ~700 calories, 24 grams protein, and less than 35% of the calories from fat. All fat is trans fatty acid free, sodium is less than 1,200 milligrams. Meals provide generous servings of whole grains and fiber, whole grain fiber is less than 12 grams.
NEED A RIDE
BurbankBus Senior and Disabled Transit Services provide curb-to-curb transportation services to Burbank senior and disabled residents. The goal of the service is to reduce the isolation of seniors and disabled Burbank residents and to assist them in remaining independent. For more information, click here or call 818.238.5360. Reservations are taken daily from 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. for the next day.

How can I help? The Burbank Home Delivered Meal Program would not be possible without the dedication of the Home Delivered Meal volunteers. This is a great opportunity for people that love driving and being outdoors. Take part in the rewarding experience of delivering a much-needed service to Burbank residents.
