INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE
Information and assistance services are provided at the Joslyn Adult Center during center hours (see below). Services are available for those 55+ include information on activities and community services, referrals for in-home supportive services, health, housing, and financial discount programs. Call to sign-up for an appointment.
Hearing Screening / Telephone Program
An Audiologist will examine your ears, check your hearing, and if you have hearing loss, issue a form for a free amplified telephone from the California Telephone Access Program.
Legal Advocate Services
A legal representative from Bet Tzedek (House of Justice) Legal Services comes to the Joslyn Center each 2nd Thursday of the month to assist low income individuals who are 55 years or older.
The Medicare Advocate at the Joslyn Adult Center is available on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. by appointment only. This program assists with Medicare, insurance claims and appeals, provides information on Medicare Part D, Medigaps, HMO's, and Long Term Care Insurance. Program is sponsored by the Center for Healthcare Rights.
Notary services are available at the Joslyn Center for those 55+

Supporters of Senior Services Safety Grab Bar Program
Supporters of Senior Services is offering a special opportunity for low-income Burbank residents who are 55 years old or older and own their own home. Please see 2018 income guidelines below.
