Burbank Volunteer Program Form (Required for volunteers under 18) (download)
Burbank Volunteer forms only need to be submitted once. If you are already in the BVP database, you do not need to resubmit. BVP forms will be available at DIG Days, however, you can fill out the form in advance to save time the day you volunteer.

Who can participate?
Almost anyone can! You may choose to volunteer as an individual or form a group with your family, friends, or organization. A Burbank Volunteer Program form should be completed and returned when you volunteer. It is recommended that volunteers be age 7 or above. One adult supervisor must be present for every 5 minors.
Volunteers should be:
Comfortable working outside, sometimes on uneven ground.
Willing to get dirty.
Able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs and entire body, such as balancing, stooping, bending, and handling materials.
How do I know where to go?
Every Saturday of the month is assigned a specific park that volunteers will meet.
1st Saturday of the Month: Johnny Carson Park (Meet at the playground)
2nd Saturday of the Month: McCambridge Park (Meet at the gazebo)
3rd Saturday of the Month: George Izay Park (Meet in front of Olive Recreation Center)
4th Saturday of the Month: Verdugo Park (Meet at the playground)
Are DIG Days ever cancelled?
In the case of extreme weather, holidays, or a conflicting event, a DIG Day may be cancelled. If a DIG is cancelled, Parks and Recreation will post the update on the DIG Burbank web page.
What if I have a group that wants to DIG??
