Campers participate in hikes, nature crafts, and science projects. Please pack a snack and a water for your child(ren) daily. Participants must wear appropriate clothes, shoes, and socks for hiking. Sunscreen and hat are recommended. Campers must be the correct age at start of camp.
The City of Burbank continues to be prepared but not panicked in regards to taking a proactive approach towards slowing the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid-19). As of Monday, March 16, 2020, all City buildings and recreation facilities along with libraries will be closed until Monday, April 6. Accordingly, the Verdugo Mountain Explorers Spring Camp has been cancelled.

After registering online, please make sure to fill out a Registration Form in order to complete your registration. Medication Release Forms will also be due prior to camp start if your child(ren) require any medication. Please make sure to have your doctor sign off on our Prescription Medication Release Form if your child(ren) will bring any prescribed medication including Epi-pens. For over the counter medications, please submit an OTC Medication Release Form.
