With recent projections from Governor Newsom and the Los Angeles County representatives, the City of Burbank will not be offering summer sports leagues.
City of Burbank Taking Steps to Prevent the Spread of the Coronavirus - Facility Closure Announcement
YOUTH & ADULT SPORTS – Effective April 10, 2020 all sports programming and all City buildings will be CLOSED to the public until further notice. This includes all sports activities, league games, drop-in sports programs and practice reservations.

In the event of field closures, this web page and the Field Conditions Hotline will be updated to inform managers and players when athletic fields are unplayable and games are cancelled.

The Ball Field Improvement Project:
- Laser leveling the infield
- Edge amendment
- Installing new infield mix
- Installing new field fixtures, including pitching rubbers and home-plates
- Realigning the base anchors
- Installing clay bricks on the pitching mound and home-plate
Phase II of the project included the installation of permanent foul lines. This project will increase safety and play-ability of our fields as well as increase levels of programming.
