Player Interest List

Individual players interested in playing will be placed on a "Player Interest List".  Players' names are distributed to existing teams expressing an interest in adding new players or to new teams that are forming. For those players not contacted and placed on a team, their parents are required to attend a parent's meeting. The purpose of these meetings is to recruit new coaches. Staff will make every attempt to recruit coaches for these players, however there is no guarantee of placement on a team. Individual players interested in playing these sports should contact the Sports Office at 818.238.5330.  Click here to be added to the Player Interest List.

Volunteer Coaches are Needed

All youth teams are coached by volunteers looking to make the difference in the lives of children. The Parks & Recreation Department strives to find a team for each child interested in gaining a sports experience that is fun and enriching. Volunteers are needed at every level with varying skill sets. Training resources and certifications are available. Your time is a valuable asset to teach life skills to children such as team work, confidence, work ethic, and perseverance.
