**THE RECYCLE CENTER IS CLOSED
UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE***

Out of abundance of caution, the City of Burbank is closing the Recycle Center due to potential exposure to COVID-19 and therefore will NOT be open Tuesday-Saturday, as previously promoted.

While closed, the Center will adhere to all CDC and LA County Public Health Officer Guidelines as screening, possible testing and facility cleaning occurs. The future opening date has not yet been decided.

The Recycle Center staff that were exposed did not have any interactive roles with the public.

We regret any inconvenience this may have caused and appreciate your patience during these ever-changing times.

Please continue to check back for further updates.

Too Toxic to Trash:

Got Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) and other problematic items that you need to dispose of properly?

Then it’s time to clean out your garage, attic, cellar, yard, medicine cabinet, and any place you have toxic or problematic items!  It’s the annual HHW and E-waste Recycling Roundup, Saturday September 5th from 9a-3p at the Burbank Fire Department Training Center 1845 Ontario Street.

(Note this roundup event is an LA County sponsored event and NOT held at the Burbank Recycle Center.)

See flyer for details. Needles are also accepted when put in a red medical container or #2 plastic detergent container with the cap secured and clearly marked “SHARPS”.
