SPECIAL NOTICE

The Burbank Recycle Center OFFICE will be closed to the public until further notice to help prevent the spread of COVID 19.  All classes and workshops are canceled through the end of April and until further notice.

The Drop Zone will also be closed for public drop off of electronics, batteries, fluorescents, antifreeze, or motor oil.  We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to serving you soon.

  • Suspension of Services
    • After next Friday, 3/27, commercial recycling bin service will be suspended until further notice, except for multi-family locations 

Services That Are Still Open:

Residents can continue to drop off paper, cardboard, mattresses, glass, metals, and plastics 1, 2 & 5.  

Bottle and can redemption continues M-F 8am – 5pm, and Saturday 8am – 4pm.

Still Open!  

BOTTLE AND CANS:  The Burbank Recycle Center pays for beverage containers marked with the California Redemption Value (CRV).  Beverage containers without CRV labeling are accepted for recycling without payment

The Drop Zone, a special City of Burbank service for Electronics and Used Oil collection, is closed on Saturday and Holidays. Please click here for more information for weekend drop off options)

The Burbank Recycle Center accepts mattresses for drop-off Monday through Saturday 8 am until 4 pm.  Residential (1 mattress and 1 box spring) drop-off is free; commercial drop-off is $6 per unit. We are now accepting futon mattresses as well.
