Burbank Volunteer Program (BVP) - Parks & Recreation
Burbank Volunteer Program
The Burbank Volunteer Program (BVP) is a City of Burbank program that matches local volunteers with nonprofits and public organizations.
Whether you are looking to complete high school service learning requirements, have a few spare hours a month, or have recently retired and are looking to make an impact, BVP can assist in finding the perfect match for your availability and interests.
After submitting a complete BVP Application, staff will contact you for a brief interview.
Pass a Background Check
All volunteers ages 18+ must complete fingerprinting (LiveScan*) and background check (NCSI).
*LiveScan fingerprint services are unavailable due to COVID-19. All volunteers cleared during this time will be required to complete LiveScan when the service becomes available again.
Current BVP Volunteer Timesheets (PDF) can be submitted online, or downloaded and returned to the BVP office located at the Joslyn Adult Center.
