BURBANK CHANNEL BIKEWAY PROJECT
In October 2019, Public Works began work on the Burbank Channel Bikeway Project. This State and Federal funded project is a 0.79-mile bike and pedestrian path that will be constructed adjacent to the Burbank Western Channel. The project will include the following work: existing railroad bridge retrofitting, construction of a concrete path, boardwalk and piling, a precast modular block wall, curb ramps, installation of a traffic signal, pathway lighting, a landscape and irrigation system, and installation of signing and striping. The Bikeway is expected to be complete by fall 2020. For additional project information, please contact the Public Works project manager, Omar Moheize at (818) 238-3915 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

BURBANK TRAFFIC RESPONSIVE PROJECT
From March 2020 to September 2020, the City will be reconstructing 3 traffic signals (Vanowen/Metrolink crosswalk, Vanowen/Hollywood, and Valhalla/Hollywood) and installing fiber optic conduit and cable on Verdugo Avenue between Hollywood Way and Keystone Street.  The project will improve safety and traffic circulation by installing new poles, cameras, detection, and wiring.  Temporary "No Parking" will occur within 300 feet of these locations.  For additional project information, please contact the Public Works project manager, Vikki Davtian at (818) 238-3915 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

LADWP RIVER SUPPLY CONDUIT IMPROVEMENT UPPER REACH - UNIT 7
LADWP is working on the River Supply Conduit (RSC) Improvement Upper Reach Unit 7 Project, which consists of installing 13,325 linear-feet of 78-inch diameter welded steel pipeline primarily within a tunnel. The project is located in the Burbank area. The tunnel begins at Johnny Carson Park South, located south of the 134 Freeway in Burbank and continues northwest under Whitnall Highway to join RSC Unit 6 near Biloxi Avenue and West Burbank Boulevard.  For more information, please visit: ladwp.com/RSC7.
