Burbank Police Officer Charged in Insurance Fraud Investigation

Burbank, California – A Burbank Police Officer is scheduled to be arraigned on criminal charges stemming from an investigation into claims of insurance fraud and perjury.

In March of 2021, the Burbank Police Department initiated a criminal investigation involving Burbank Police Officer Angela Feco. The Department then presented the investigation to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office for prosecutorial considerations.

On April 13, 2022, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office reviewed the case and charged Officer Feco with five felony counts of insurance fraud and attempted perjury. She is scheduled to be arraigned in court on May 31, 2022.

Officer Feco has been employed by the City of Burbank Police Department since October of 2011. She is being placed on administrative leave without pay pending the outcome of the criminal case and subsequent personnel investigation.
