City Seeks Input on Proposed Burbank Civic Center

The City of Burbank invites the public to provide input on proposed improvements to the Burbank Civic Center at upcoming community meetings.

The proposed Civic Center Project includes a new Central Library, new community open space, parking, and both market-rate and affordable housing. Preliminary plans and the results of a feasibility study were presented to the City Council on September 13, 2022.

As planning continues, members of the public are invited to provide input on how the project can best meet community needs, with a focus on the project elements – library, open space, housing, parking – as well as overall project sustainability goals.

Three meetings will be held in December:

• In-person on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, from 3-4:30 pm, or 7-8:30 pm, at the Burbank Central Library, 2nd floor auditorium, 110 N. Glenoaks Blvd.
• Online on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, from 5-6:30 pm. Register here to receive Zoom information.

In addition, input may be provided at any time via the project website, www.burbankciviccenter.com , which also has project information and links to presentations and previous studies.
