COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Opens At Hollywood Burbank Airport

BURBANK, Calif., August 25, 2021 — The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) has set up a free clinic onsite at Hollywood Burbank Airport for travelers and the community at large to receive vaccination against the COVID-19 virus.

“Public Health is proud to partner with Hollywood Burbank Airport, MedEx Pharmacy, and the Medical Reserve Corps Los Angeles to offer convenient, single-dose Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine for employees, travelers, and tourists,” says Barbara Ferrer, Director of LACDPH. “Providing this service will help protect our workforce, resume safe travel, and welcome tourists back to our beautiful county.”

The clinic is located at the airport’s Terminal A, near the TSA security checkpoint. The service is open to adults, ages 18 years and older. Initial operating hours are:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

“Having the onsite clinic is right in line with the airport’s mission to give our travelers the most convenient experience possible,” says Frank Miller, Executive Director, Hollywood Burbank Airport. “That convenience includes access to the vaccine, which will help ensure safer and healthier travels in the future.”

Other COVID-19 vaccines, including Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson booster shots, may be available in the coming months.
