Fatal Traffic Collision Involving Motorcyclist

Burbank, California – A motorcyclist from Burbank has died following a traffic collision with a motor vehicle.
On August 28, 2021, at about 5:52 P.M., Burbank Police and Burbank Fire personnel responded to the intersection of Alameda Avenue and Keystone Street after receiving a report of a major injury traffic collision involving a motor vehicle and motorcyclist. When officers and paramedics arrived, they located the motorcyclist trapped underneath a vehicle. Fire Department personnel were able to remove the motorcyclist and immediately initiated life-saving measures. The motorcyclist was transported to a local trauma center where he was pronounced deceased.


The driver of the motor vehicle remained at the scene and was interviewed by traffic investigators. Investigators determined neither drugs nor alcohol were factors in regards to the driver of the motor vehicle. Investigators have also determined that neither speed nor illegal street racing were factors.

The investigation into this traffic collision is on-going.


The motorcyclist has been identified as Misael Audelo Gusman, a 30-year-old resident of Burbank.
