George Izay Master Plan to be Presented to Park Board

Burbank, CA (August 5, 2022) – The George Izay Park Master Plan will be presented to the Parks and Recreation Board on Thursday, August 11th, 2022, at City Hall (275 E. Olive Ave.) inside Council Chambers from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. During this presentation, results of the 10 month-long community engagement processes will be shared, including the online surveys, multi-modal survey, in-person design charrette workshop group plans, the in-person feedback workshop, composite plan, consensus plan, and Conceptual Park Master Plan along with the George Izay Park Master Plan.

The City of Burbank Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with RJM Design Group, conducted this public engagement and in-person outreach workshop to help identify and determine the needs of Burbank residents and stakeholders regarding future improvements to George Izay Park and its amenities, facilities, and buildings. Information gathered during this process has guided the ultimate vision and development of the George Izay Park Master Plan.
