The Burbank Police Department Community Academy was established to provide residents and community members with a firsthand look at how police officers serve and protect our City. The program is designed to deepen understanding of departmental operations, community policing philosophies, internal policies, and the principles of law and ethical conduct that guide the delivery of police services in Burbank.
Participation is open to individuals who live or work in Burbank, offering a unique opportunity to engage with officers, ask questions, and gain insight into the Department’s commitment to serving the community.
Registration for the 2025 Community Academy has closed. Please look for an announcement for our next class, expected in the spring of 2026!
