The City of Burbank moves into the next phase of community engagement for the potential new Central Library and Public Plaza and invites residents to participate in a new series of Community Workshops and Town Hall meetings.

Please be advised that San Fernando Boulevard will be closed to through traffic between Magnolia Boulevard and Angeleno Avenue from approximately 6:00 AM until 11:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025 for the Downtown Burbank Winter Wine Walk.

[Update 11/20/25]: The traffic signal construction at the 1st & Magnolia intersection is now complete, and the intersection has returned to normal operation.

The Greater Los Angeles County Vector Control District (GLACVCD) has confirmed a positive West Nile Virus (WNV) mosquito sample in Burbank. 

Downtown Burbank’s Most Festive Tradition Returns Saturday, November 22nd

Due to the forecasted weather event, the Verdugo Aquatics Facility (VAF) will be closed on Saturday, November 15, 2025.

Due to inclement weather, Stough Canyon and Wildwood Canyon hiking trails will be closed November 14-16, and will re-open when deemed safe by staff.
