Housing & Grants

The Housing Division is committed to protecting single family neighborhoods while implementing projects and programs that encourage:

  • Affordable, subsidized housing for lower-income persons and households

  • Housing options for the Burbank workforce

  • Housing alternatives overall to meet the varying needs of current and future residents

LANDLORD-TENANT DISCUSSION AND EFFORTS TO DATE. The City Council has held several meetings during calendar year 2023 through June 2024 to discuss and address residential tenant and landlord protections.  A timeline and summary of Council meetings and actions is posted here.  For any questions on this continued discussion, please contact the Housing office at (818) 238-5180.
