Fire Film Safety Office

Get a Permit

  1. Complete the Film Burbank Permit. For help, contact the Police Film Office at (818) 238-3105 at least 48 business hours before filming starts.
  2. The Fire Film Safety Office reviews the permit to decide if a Fire Safety Officer is needed.
  3. If a Fire Safety Officer is not needed, a Fire Film Safety Permit is issued.
  4. The production company will receive copies of all permits. These must be kept on-site during filming.

 

Fees

Fire Safety Officer

  • 4-hour minimum must be paid in advance
  • If more than 4 hours is needed, the balance will be invoiced. Total hours will include 30-minutes before and after production.
  • Production without a Fire Safety Officer will get a Temporary Production Location Permit, which must be paide in advance.
  • Email the Fire Film Safety Office at [email protected] for changes. Cancellation notices must be within 24 hours or fees will not be refunded.

Payment

  • Cash, check or credit card
  • Permit will be cancelled is payment is not received.

Other Operational Permits

  • Determined by the Fire Film Safety Oiffce
  • Depends on film activity
  • Fees charged for each permit
