Get Involved

Want to be more prepared and make a difference in your community? Here are two ways to be more involved in emergency preparedness and response:

1. Sign up for a Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) class to prepare yourself, your family, and your neighbors. Learn more at BurbankCERT.org.
    
2. Volunteer with the Burbank Fire Department by joining the Burbank Fire Corps Program. Volunteers will perform non-hazardous response and support functions, which include:
   • Volunteer Fire Patrols
   • Disaster Communications
   • Logistics Support
   • Public Education
