Come to the Central Library in your PJs for a soothing evening story time.

Unlike our daytime story times where we're known to shake our sillies out and enjoy some high-energy fun, our Snuggle Story Time is a quiet and calming program for young children and their families.

We'll read a bedtime story and snuggle through soft songs, rhymes, and even a few mindfulness practices! Story time will be followed by a short coloring session set to classical music. Bring your favorite stuffed animal to snuggle! 

Story Time plays an important role in promoting early literacy and the love of books, learning, and exploring the world as children will see and hear more words than they do in their normal everyday setting. Parents and caregivers learn to model reading aloud techniques by using their voice to enhance the characters and make the stories more interesting and appealing.
