Library: Mindful Yoga for Families
Yoga instructor Ligia Wills will guide participants in a mindful yoga session designed for school-age children and their families. Participants will practice breath work, kid-friendly yoga poses, and relaxation techniques. Families will be encouraged and led through group poses together as well.
Please wear comfortable clothes, and bring a yoga mat if you have one!
Yoga for children helps with stress and anxiety relief and promotes overall mental and physical well-being. Studies have shown that children who participate in yoga and mindfulness improve in their stress management skills, as well as their general social and emotional quality of life.
