Caregivers of children ages 2 - 5 are welcome to join us at the Library for a free parenting workshop led by certified Positive Discipline Instructor, Hannah Stubblefield. This afternoon's topic covers tips on how to understand childhood tantrums and approach the "big feelings" often experienced by very young children with kindness and firmness. All attendees will be entered into a drawing to win a copy of a Positive Discipline parenting book.

Positive Discipline is the parenting approach based on the work of Alfred Adler. The basic principles include:

• Helping children feel a sense of belonging and significance
• Being respectful and kind while setting firm boundaries
• Focusing on long-term goals
• Modeling valuable social and life skills
• Inviting children to discover how capable and resilient they are
