Library: Create a Family Disaster Plan
Disasters can be scary — but planning for them doesn’t have to be! Join us at the Library with the Burbank Fire Department for Ready Together, a fun and interactive program where kids (ages 5 and up) and their caregivers learn how to prepare for emergencies as a team.
Through games, a scavenger hunt, and hands-on activities, families will:
- Learn about different types of disasters
- Build a go bag checklist together
- Create a simple, easy-to-follow Family Emergency Plan
Perfect for families looking to get ready together, this program turns emergency preparedness into a positive, empowering adventure!
The first 100 attendees to arrive will get a free first aid kit!
