The City of Burbank’s Community Development Department, Transportation Division, invites you to attend a community meeting about speed limit policy. Since the passage of California Assembly Bill 43 in 2021, cities in California have had expanded authority to set local speed limits to align with safety goals. As directed by the City’s recently adopted Safer Streets Burbank Action Plan, City of Burbank staff are exploring options for revising the City’s posted speed limits based on these new tools. Come learn about recent changes in speed limit policies around the world and share your thoughts on Burbank’s streets.
