Burbank Central Library and Public Plaza Project: Town Hall
A future Burbank Central Library and Public Plaza project is being proposed as a transformative opportunity to meet community needs while building a thriving downtown neighborhood in a sustainable and fiscally responsible way. The project proposes a new vibrant public plaza and improved Central Library, and replaces the Administrative Services Building offices in downtown Burbank.
The City of Burbank will host a series of Community Town Halls to provide more detailed updates on the project’s timeline, design process, and potential impacts, as well as mitigation efforts associated with future construction. Each meeting will present the same information and include a presentation followed by time for questions and discussion.
Residents are invited to attend any of the following sessions:
- Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Central Library
- Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM online
- Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Central Library
