The City of Burbank is launching the planning process for the Downtown Burbank Sidewalk Enhancement Project and will host two community walking tours on Thursday, April 2, 2026, and Saturday, April 4, 2026. Each one hour, under one mile tour will begin at the Palm Paseo entrance at San Fernando Boulevard and Palm Avenue (between Gap and Finney’s), inviting participants to share their vision for a safer, more connected Downtown while learning about Phase 2 improvements linked to the future Olive/San Fernando BRT station. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes as we explore planned enhancements such as wider sidewalks, landscaped parkways, safer crossings, and other upgrades that will shape a more welcoming, walkable public realm.
