Burbank City Treasurer Elected President of the California Municipal Treasurers Association
Burbank, CA (May 29, 2026) – The California Municipal Treasurers Association (CMTA) has elected Burbank City Treasurer Krystle Palmer as President for a two-year term. As President and Chief Executive Officer of CMTA, Palmer will provide leadership and oversight for the statewide organization, preside over the Association’s Annual Meeting and Board of Directors meetings, appoint committee chairs, and represent CMTA among professional organizations throughout California. Palmer will continue serving in her elected role as Burbank City Treasurer while taking on the additional responsibilities of the CMTA presidency, a role that will further enhance her ability to safeguard and invest public funds through expanded collaboration with treasury and finance leaders across the state.
