Burbank Districting Formation: You Can Still Submit Your Maps!

We have mapping tools to collect your vision for the development of potential voting district boundaries. The “District-Drawing Tool” invites community members to suggest proposed City Council district boundaries and is available both digitally and as a print copy. The “Draw Your Neighborhood” tool invites community members to identify communities of interest that share cultures, languages, histories, and interests. The deadline to submit your Paper & Digital Mapping Tool to Draw District Boundaries is July 7, 2023. Maps submitted by June 2nd will be reviewed at the third public hearing on June 14, 2023 and maps submitted by July 7th will be reviewed at the fourth public hearing on July 18, 2023. 

The deadline to submit your Draw Your Neighborhood map is July 18, 2023 
 

Next Steps

Join us for the third public hearing on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 6:00 pm to review the draft maps. You may attend this public hearing in-person at Burbank City Hall Council Chambers, located at 275 E. Olive Ave. Burbank, CA 91502 or view the meeting live via the City’s website, on YouTube, or on channel 6 (Spectrum) or Channel 99 (AT&T). 

 
Additionally, round 2 of public forums will begin June 15, 2023. This round will focus on providing districting process updates and redefining the district boundary options based on the draft maps received. There will be five additional opportunities to attend forums either in-person or virtually.
