Update as of August 8, 2026, 6:20PM: Walnut Fire Update as of 6:20PM: Evacuation warnings for Churches Ct. and Country Club Drive have been lifted. Residents reentering the area are asked to be cautious and careful of fire crews working in the area.
Evacuation orders continue to be in place for DeBell Restaurant and Golf Course and Stough Canyon Nature Center. Hiking trails closed until further notice. The Starlight Bowl concert scheduled for August 8 has been cancelled.

Update as of August 8, 2026, 5:55PM]: The fire (aka Walnut Fire) is at 40 acres and 70% contained. One firefighter was transferred to the hospital to treat non life threatening injuries. Evacuation warnings for Churches Ct. and Country Club Drive are still in place. Evacuation orders continue to be in place for DeBell Restaurant and Golf Course and Stough Canyon Nature Center. Hiking trails closed until further notice. The Starlight Bowl concert scheduled for August 8 has been cancelled.

Burbank, CA (August 8, 2026) 3:40PM: Burbank Fire is aware of a fire in Wildwood Canyon and is actively responding with assistance from regional partners.
Evacuation orders are in place for DeBell Restaurant and Golf Course and Stough Canyon Nature Center. Hiking trails closed until further notice. The Starlight Bowl concert scheduled for August 8 has been cancelled.
