Burbank PD News Release: Pink Police Cruiser & Motorcycle

Since 2017, the Burbank Police Department and Wrapix Imaging have partnered to raise awareness for breast cancer and support the fight against the disease.

Throughout October, designated as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Burbank Police will showcase a bright pink-wrapped Ford Explorer police cruiser and police motorcycle. The vehicles serve as a visible reminder of the importance of regular screenings and early detection, while helping bring attention to breast cancer awareness throughout the community.

Wrapix Imaging and 3M Commercial Graphics have generously donated the vinyl wrap materials and labor for this year's vehicles. Wrapix Imaging is a family-owned business specializing in a wide variety of custom-printed graphics.

“It is an honor to continue raising awareness for such an important cause,” said Adam Sumner, owner of Wrapix Imaging. “Nearly everyone knows someone impacted by this disease, which is why supporting awareness and funding research matters so much to us. Partnering with the Burbank Police Department and City of Hope has become a meaningful tradition that we look forward to every year.”

The pink police cruiser and motorcycle will be on display at the Burbank Police Department, 200 N. Third St., on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Throughout October, the vehicles will also be seen at various events and locations throughout the community.

The Burbank Police Department encourages community members to help spread awareness, support cancer research, and talk with their healthcare providers about recommended breast cancer screenings.
