Burbank Police News Release: Man Arrested for Lewd Behavior

A 34-year-old man has been arrested after secretly photographing a female patron at a local business. 

On August 28, 2026, at about 2:20 pm, Burbank Police officers responded to a business in the 1600 block of North Victory Place within the Empire Center regarding a suspicious man taking photographs of a female patron. 

Upon arrival, officers contacted the 61-year-old female victim and a witness, who both saw the suspect use his cell phone to secretly take photographs of the victim under her clothing without her knowledge or consent. 

Officers located the suspect, 34-year-old Alfredo Solis of Huntington Park, as he exited the store.  

Mr. Solis was arrested and booked for violation of California Penal Code section 647(a), a misdemeanor. 

Formal charges are pending review by the Burbank City Attorney’s Office.

This investigation remains ongoing, and detectives believe there may be additional victims who have not yet been identified.
