Carjacking Suspects Arrested

Burbank, California (June 9, 2023) – Two men have been arrested in connection with a carjacking of a pizza delivery driver.


The incident occurred on June 6, 2023. At about 4:25 p.m., Burbank Police responded to the 1500 block of North Naomi Street regarding a report of a carjacking that had just occurred. The victim, who works for Domino’s Pizza, told officers he was delivering an order to a customer when he was confronted by two men in an alley. One man grabbed the victim, assaulted him, and pointed a firearm at him while demanding the keys to his vehicle. Fearing for his life, the victim complied with the suspect’s demands and handed over his keys. The suspects then fled in the victim’s vehicle.

Multiple officers responded to the area and searched for the suspects but did not locate them.

Following the incident, Burbank Police investigators conducted a thorough investigation, including canvassing the area for evidence and collecting surveillance video.

On June 8, 2023, at about 1:45 p.m., investigators found the victim’s vehicle near the 6500 block of Radford Avenue in North Hollywood, being driven by a man believed to be one of the suspects in the carjacking. Detectives stopped the driver and arrested him. Investigators then located the second suspect a short time later near the 6100 block of Lankershim Boulevard in North Hollywood and arrested him as well.

Following the arrests, detectives served search warrants at two locations where the suspects reside and recovered evidence linking them to the carjacking in Burbank.

The suspects have been identified as 24-year-old Jordan Lee and 21-year-old Tracy Dobbins, both residents of North Hollywood. Both were booked for armed carjacking, a felony, and are being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. Mr. Lee and Mr. Dobbins are due to appear in court on June 12, 2023.

Formal charges are pending review by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
