City of Burbank Has No Investments in Russian Assets

Burbank, CA (March 15, 2022) – In light of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the City of Burbank Treasurer’s Office would like to inform the public that the City’s portfolio does not hold any investments in Russian assets. Additionally, the City does not currently invest in bonds issued by Russia, or any corporations organized and operating with Russia.

City Council approved the Burbank’s Investment Policy (PDF) in June 2021, which outlines the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) responsibilities. The City of Burbank affirms its commitment to the consideration of Investment Policy criteria to take appropriate actions that protect the interest of our residents and community.
