City of Burbank Provides Update on Metro Bus Rapid Transit Court Proceedings

Burbank, CA (July 17, 2026) – The City’s counsel appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday to argue Honorable Stephen Morgan’s tentative ruling to grant Metro’s Motion for Preliminary Injunction. The Court heard arguments from both parties, took the matter under submission, and indicated that a ruling on the preliminary injunction would be issued next week.

As the case is still pending, there will be no further comments at this time.
