The Burbank Public Library and Burbank Recycle Center, in partnership with Los Angeles County, are proud to host a FREE Fixit Clinic this Sunday. Community members are invited to bring household items in need of repair—such as electronic gadgets, small appliances, toys, bicycles, jewelry, and textiles—and work side-by-side with skilled volunteers to troubleshoot and attempt repairs.
“Fixit Clinics are not a drop-off service,” said Laura Anthony, Program Coordinator of the LA Fixit Clinic. “We guide participants through the repair process so they gain confidence, learn valuable skills, and develop a deeper appreciation for the items they already own. Repairing instead of replacing helps reduce waste and empowers more mindful consumption.”
